We leave Port Elizabeth without remorse, a town that has lost much of its original splendor, only a beautiful promenade remains which is far and outside its inhabited center. We head towards Knysna, however, planning to pass through two spectacular points of the Garden Route, the first is the Tsitsikamma National Park where we do not stop, we stop instead at Plettenberg Bay before arriving in Knysna in the early afternoon where we would like to take a short excursion on its hills overlooking the sea from which you can observe the whales.
Once in Knysna we reach the stretch of coast that closes its bay, we leave the car at the parking lot and we go down along the high sand dunes to the seashore where we find a beautiful cliff where the sea plays and creates very suggestive images. We then go to our hotel, the South Villa Guest House , a real corner of home, away from home, with truly excellent taste attention to detail. We also take a stroll in the center of Knysna before a downpour convinces us to run back and declare our day over. Tomorrow we will transfer to one of the natural parks that we believe to be among the most beautiful, the De Hoop Nature Reserve where we hope to meet the Southern Whales (and not only)
